GERINGOFF ROTA-DISC
Geringhoff engineers have developed a technology that allows you to
harvest corn and chop stalks quickly, all in one pass, with superior
performance and minimum draw on combine horsepower. The ROTA-DISC corn
header completely eliminates the need for a stalk chopper. Or a disc. So
you not only save money on equipment, you'll also reduce your labor and
fuel costs. Add it all up and you'll save up to $8.50 per acre. Each
ROTA-DISC corn header is a comple replacement corn header designed
specifically to fit your brand of combine. The headers are made with
appropriate fittings for John Deere, Case IH, Lexion, New Holland, Gleaner,
Massey Ferguson or Challenger combines.
The ROTA-DISC chops the stalks into 3-6" pieces at a 27 angle before
they can become run over and compacted. This eliminates the winter home of
pests such as corn bore and dramatically speed the deterioration of the
sliced stalks. This chopping feature is the most advanced in the industry,
implementing the Geringhoff standard of high output and low power demand.
Eliminate Drive Chains -- PTO driven crown and miter gearboxes
have established unprecendented reliability. Enforcing a constant pull,
this Geringhoff exclusive feature eliminates chain drives and maintenance
while delivering maximum power to the row unit providing longer wear on
all components.
Engineered to perfection -- The stripping rollers and cutting
disc rollers are coupled to the row unit gearbox via spline shafts and a
flanged hub providing quick and easy maintenance.
Advanced Components -- Fitted with the industry's largest
gathering chain sprocket and an integrated slip clutch proven by over 20
years of field experince, the Geringhoff row units are simple, reliable,
and easy to maintain. The gathering chain removal tool pictured is standard
equipment on all Geringhoff corn headers and povides a quick removal of
the gathering chains.
